Insurance Information

Financial policy

Your medical insurance is a contract between you and your insurance company. The policy spells out the responsibilities of each party. As a courtesy to you, it is our policy to bill your insurance company. If you are not covered by Medicare, Medicaid or an HMO, we request that you make arrangements for payment on the day that you are seen in the office. If you do not have medical insurance, payment in full must be made at the time of treatment unless other arrangements have been made in advance. For your convenience, payment may be made by cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover Card or American Express. If payment of your balance causes a financial hardship, please feel free to speak to one of our patient account representatives regarding alternate payment arrangements. Our billing office is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. The phone number is (203) 756 – 6422. Please feel free to call us regarding any questions about your bill.

We participate with most major insurance plans, including:

If your insurance isn’t listed, please call your insurance company to see if it is in network, or call us to see if we participate with it.

NVGC will bill your insurance company with the information that you provide to us. You are responsible for any deductibles, co-insurance or co-pays. All deductibles, co-insurance or co-pays are due at the time of your visit.
